AI agent development
AI agents that make it to production.
Most AI projects die as demos. Ours run businesses — including five of our own products. We design, build and operate custom agents for support, operations and internal teams.
What we build
Customer-support agents
Answer, triage and resolve across chat, email and WhatsApp, with human handoff.
Internal copilots
Assistants over your documents, CRM and databases, so your team stops digging.
Workflow automations
Multi-step processes (quotes, onboarding, reporting) run by agents with approvals where they matter.
Agent integrations
Add AI to the software you already use via APIs — no rip-and-replace.
Proof: we run our own agents
Five products built, launched and operated by our studio give you a chance to try live software before you hire us.

Our live AI support agent is available to explore before a conversation.
How we build
Discovery (free call + 1 week)
We map the workflow, the data and the risks; you get a scoped pilot proposal.
Pilot (2–6 weeks)
A working agent on your real data, evaluated against targets we agree up front.
Production
Security review, monitoring, fallbacks and human-handoff flows — the unglamorous 60% most agencies skip.
Operate & improve
We monitor quality, costs and drift, and iterate monthly.
Our stack
We build on OpenAI and Anthropic (Claude) models plus open-weight models where they fit, with retrieval (RAG), vector search, and evaluation harnesses so quality is measured, not assumed. Hosting on your cloud or ours.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to launch an agent?
Pilots ship in 2–6 weeks; production hardening typically adds 2–4 more depending on integrations.
Which model will you use?
The one that fits the task and budget — we're not tied to a vendor. We benchmark options during the pilot and show you the numbers.
Can the agent use our internal data safely?
Yes. Data stays in your systems where possible; we use retrieval rather than fine-tuning on sensitive data by default, and we follow your access rules.
What happens when the agent doesn't know the answer?
It says so and hands off to a human. Designing that handoff well is most of the difference between a demo and production.
Do you replace our support team?
No — the agent absorbs the repetitive volume so your team handles what actually needs people.
What does it cost to run?
Model usage is metered; a typical support agent's monthly model bill is a fraction of one salary. We set cost ceilings and monitor them.
Can we see something working before committing?
Yes — ChatCactus is our own live support agent; try it. The pilot then proves it on YOUR data.
Who owns the code and prompts?
You do, fully, on final payment of each phase.
